My philosophy
My philosophy as an educator is best stated by the Principles of Child Development Project...

Children need hands-on practice to develop conceptual understanding.

Children need to feel a measure of control over their learning.

Children learn best when presented with challenges that are neither too easy nor too difficult.

Children are more willing to take on challenging tasks in a supportive environment.

Children are naturally motivated to learn about topics they consider important, relevant, or fun.

Children are more likely to internalize learning when they reflect on what and how they learned.

Children's social development and academic growth occur simultaneously and are best fostered in interactive learning situations.

Children need good examples and adult assistance while learning what values are and how to apply them in daily life.

I think that first of all, teachers should love our work and try to be positive all the time, encouraging children to work and love what they do. Schools are not supposed to be jails but growing spaces.
